Here are our actors which star in our intro. We chose people who we knew were very confident and enthusiastic however they would be able to take the shooting seriously. We also chose these 4 people as they suit the theme of the movie as they are all teenagers and also look the part. The two boys are Leonard Favero and Gabby Hinarejos Alamo and the two girls are Jil Sophie and Franziska (Kika) Fleissner. All these people have good characteristics and strong personalities which show throughout our film.

Shooting Script.
Here is our Shooting Script, which I have made on word, making this was quite easy as I had the story boards to follow and so I had the storyline, shoots and camera angles handy. The shooting script includes the shot, the action of what is briefly happening within the shot, what the camera will be doing and how long the shot will last. I feel that it is important to have this shooting script as it will make the shooting of our film much easier and the process will run much smoother. In order to produce this shooting script, I used the story boards which we created as they include all the vital information about what is happening in the scenes and all the different shot types.
Shot List.
Here is our shot list, we used our story boards to help us create our shot list ask they include there scenes and what kind of shot we are using. We have decided that in order to create a still shot, using a tripod is the best way to achieve this. Also we want to use the eye level angle as that achieves a clear view of what we are trying to capture. (Produced by Kika, Jasmine and I helped the layout and explained the different scenes and shots from the story board.)
Casting Our Film.
Here are screeshots of Jasmine asking people to be actors in our film. As our film is based on the lives of teenagers, we chose teens that we knew had similar traits with the characters in our film.

As most of the people featuring in our film will be teenagers, we want to incorporate teen fashion trends. Also, as we are focusing on the genre ‘Rom-Com’ in most Romantic Comedies teenagers are featured and so there clothing reflects the feel of the film. We will include props such as school books, mobile phones, school bags, head phones, (general school things). I have created a prezi to demonstrate out costumes and props. Animatic.
After Kika, Jasmine and I produced our story boards Jasmine created this animatic by using iMovie. The animatic brings our storyline to life, the sound that is featured in the animatic links with out storyline as it is upbeat and the sense of teen links with our genre ‘rom-com’. The animatic is a very important element within the stages of preparation to filming as it shows our scenes and puts the storyline and camera shots and angles into perspective.
Locations.
Here are our different locations for our opening scene. They include a variation of areas around the school campus. The c=school campus is an excellent place for us to film as our scene is shot within a school.

Story Board.
Here is Kika’s, myself and Jasmine’s story board. Our story boards include the different shots, a description of what is happening in the shot and the movement of the camera.
Risk Assessment.
Firstly, as we will be using a class room to film part of our opening scene, we will need permission from the teacher to make sure that we are allowed to use the room.
We will also have to ask the people who are going to act as the characters in the scene that it is ok that we are filming them.
As we will be filming some of our shots outside we will need to be cautious about where we are filming to make sure that it is safe and will not cause harm to ourselves or anything around us.
Also, as we are filming outside we will need to be aware of the weather and so we will need to take an umbrella and dress appropriately in case it rains.
One of our shots includes standing on the lawn. As the weather is very cold and icy we will have to be sure that we take extra care when walking on the lawn to avoid slipping over on the ice.
When we are in the classroom we will need to avoid any wires that may be at the front of the class room as they may be hazardous.
Story Line.
Ashley is in love with her boyfriend Jake, but Jake has fallen in love with Sara, Ashley’s best friend. Jake is trying to break up with Ashely so he can be with the girl he truly loves, he faces some difficulties along the way.
Cameron and Evan tell Jake he needs to tell Ashley that he is leaving her for Sara. Jake pretends like he does not care as he does not want to be embarrassed in front of his friends however he realises that he does needs to do something about it. Jake goes off to class and Cameron and Evan stay behind and express how they feel about Ashley….
Ashley and Jake talk in class, she is flirting and he is rejecting her, this adds a sense of humor to the scene. Then he tells her that they need to have a chat… Cameron and Evan see Jake and Ashley approaching and ask him if he told her yet, Jake looks very worried and pulls many facial expressions, this also bring another humorous aspect to the scene. Ashley is confused and freaks out and Cameron couldn’t wait any longer so he blurts it out and tells her that he is breaking up with her. Ashley freaks and Evan adds ‘…. leaving you for Sara…’
Ashley and Sara say ‘what’ at the same time which creates humor.. Ashley storms off screaming in anger. Sara looks at Jake in confusion and follows Ashley to comfort her.

Will Jake ever be with the girl he truly loves?
Will Evan and Cameron ever find anyone?
